The number 4If you have a student in the county school system, then each school has its own set of emergency plans. If there’s an incident, some schools may choose different response methods such as shelter in place or evacuation. It all depends on the situation.

General emergency messages and early and late school openings and closings can be found on the school system public web home page and on cable Channel 21 and emergency messages are sent by e-mail to subscribers of FCPS Keep In Touch.
