Thanks to declare school closing today at 5:15, we received message though. Just stepped out to start my car, guess it wouldn’t start and there is going to be a big problem early morning if schools are not delayed two hours. My child goes to Middle and the side walks are very slippery and so are the internal roads in Vienna. They has not been cleaned until now. Hope and pray they are no incidents happening with students during early hours of morning. Please delay schools for two hours, you have only one life to live and don’t put our children at risk.

What good is status for January 14, 2015 when I need status for storm weather on January 21, 2015? This web site needs to be updated in real time to be of any use at all for county residents.

Thanks for cancelling after school activities today, apparently declare school delaying or closing tomorrow 1/22 as Fairfax County doesn’t even bother cleaning the sidewalks/roads. The parents will start twittering soon, don’t make them mad like last time. Yes, Fairfax County is good at misleading citizens..
