Flood Warning Until 5 a.m. (posted 12:02 a.m.)

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Fairfax County until 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9.

Numerous roadways are closed across the D.C. metro area, Virginia suburbs and along the I-95 corridor down to the Fredericksburg area. Flooding will take some time to recede.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
