FCPS has not announced a closing tomorrow. Why are you posting this?

  2. Preston says :

This is rediculous, 4 inches expected to peak at just about cammute time and no closing….not even a delay? Who is evaluating the safety of all cammuters?

Why is it that main roads are never salted? Year after year there are accidents because of this. Where is our tax dollars going?

The weather conditions are utterly ridiculous. How do you expect me to risk my life to come to work in these conditions. It is not fair for the county to put all of us in grave danger like this. I dearly hope you reconsider closing the government tomorrow unless you want to be responsible for tons of accidents. Thank you.

The roads out there are ridiculous! Went to pick up my kids from the day care after a long day of work and the car was out of control at some points. It’s a big inconvenience/ danger for me and my family. Everything should be closed tomorrow!

  4. Jennifer A. says :

The county ought to really take employees’ safety into consideration. How do you expect us to get to work with icy roads? I don’t want to risk my life just for the sake of my job…I’m a single mother with six kids and what would happen to them if I, GOD FORBID, died getting to a petty job, which I go to for their livelihoods? I believe we deserve a day, just one day, without being on these dangerous roads. Please take this into serious consideration!!

Gurrrrl….u don even no, the county been trippinn. First my foodstamps ain’t come in on time now dis? The only way anything finna change is if we stand up and exercise one of the most important duties and privileges we have as county citizens. We need to make sure our voice is heard. You feel me doe? Get out durr and vote bay!!!

To be honest, I thing top priority should be public safety. Should we get heavy snow fall, I think closings should be in order. Some parts of this county don’t have the proper preparation for this type of weather; thus resulting in accidents and injury.

Feds close and 4 to 6 inches of snow over ice expected. Whoever is making call to keep county offices open should be fired. He or she is has absolutely no concern over public or employee safety.

  8. Noneya says :

Whomever is making the decisions for closures is a complete idiot…REALLY…even the Fed Gov and all around closed…open your eyes and CLOSE…now we have to risk our safety because you wont make the decision to close…hey…thanks so much for caring…
