Trash/Recycling Collection Cancelled for Wednesday

County trash and recycling collection service in sanitary districts has been cancelled for Wednesday, March 6. The current plan is to collect trash and recycling from Wednesday and Thursday customers on Thursday, March 7, as conditions permit.

If you have private trash collection, contact your provider.

What did this mean? My residence is in Springfield (22153) and both AAA and American Disposal picked up on their regular schedule this morning (3/7)?

  The info is for residents who receive trash pickup from the county government, not private haulers like you have. Glad they picked up as scheduled today!
